Today's practicals were fun! We finally get to start using our Retinoscope, one of the very expensive baby of ours. :P
Though a little challenging, it was fun using the scope on a fake 'eye'. I bet it'll be better on the next prac when we'll be using the scope on our partner's eyes! Hehehehe...
The other prac was fun as well! We had to practice measuring the pupillary distance(PD) with different techniques. Personally, I had fun because I feel like a real optometrist when measuring my classmates' PD. ^-^ So pro, you know?
We also met up with the first years to sell our textbooks and labcoats from last year. I gotta say 'wow' because the number of DOPT students are growing! This year, we have 5 classes of DOPT students! Gosh, from 2 to 3 to 5 classes. I got to get use to this....
Oh, I'm glad I was able to sell my stuffs. But shit, we still have to buy this GI-NORMOUS (Gigantic+ enormous) textbook for Ocular Pathology. -.- It's sooooooooooooooo thick, it's even thicker than the buyer's guide or maybe the telephone book. Geeeez, you can imagine the price too.
