My boss sure is determined to let me do subjective refraction on at least one person before my holiday ends.

But he went back on his word and changed to at least 5 subjects!!

He actually called the M1 manager and the Aili (shop beside our shop) boss to be my subjects today! He didn't even let me familiarise with the auto-phoropter before that and I didn't touch it ever since I trial test it on CLKL. That was like 2 weeks ago?

I totally forgot how to use it. Plus the fact that my memory on sub ref. was very vague didn't help at all.

The worse part of it all was giving instructions in chinese. We were trained with english instructions and at least for me, I sort of had to memorise abit of my instructions to the subject during exam. Now... it made the matter a whole lot worse.

M1 manager was actually speaking more hokkien but I couldn't possibly speak to him in hokkien when I know nuts about it so of course, his 2nd better language was chinese. And the Aili boss is from China. -_-

But after hearing Germaine give her instructions I sort of grasp it abit. My prescription and hers, the only big difference is always the right sphere. The rest quite accurate. Weeeeeird. Next week, I think my boss will call in presbyopic subjects. What the hell... I forgot how to do near sub ref. already. Hehe... Germaine totally got a shock. :P We only did that for like what? 2-3 days only?

Oh, I'll be working two more days next week besides Friday. Because of the friggin' mall which has this rule that state that if the shops doesn't open at 10am, it'll be fine $500. Crazy mall.

My boss wants G & S to come in only during the peak hours like around 12pm. Usually, there won't be much or any customers in the morning so he asked me to come open on Tues and Thurs. Actually I didn't want, but since I really nothing to do at home. I agreed.

I realised that my poly life is rather monotonous compared to Germaine's. She told me alot of things she did during poly years. And she asked me about mine. I could totally see in her face that she thinks my poly life is boring. Haha.. of course comparing to hers I couldn't agree more. But I didn't say I don't like it. If I can change it to become more colourful, I will. But if it continues, then no complains. :)
