So how did everyone's christmas went? Actually it's still kind of early to be asking that now because some may be having their xmas dinner right this instance.

Unfortunately for me, my christmas this year was not that good [probably one of the worst I've ever had]. Not only did I buy only a pair of jeans today [was supposed to shop for CNY clothing], I reached home with a foul mood. I shall not harp on that since it's a time for joy and cheer.

The previous years of Christmas, from what I can remember, were absolutely fun and enjoyable.

Last year on Christmas night [or was it xmas eve's night?], LY and I attended this Christmas celebration at The Cathay where all Cathay staff was supposed to attend [apparently not all came]. Remember we were working for Cathay at that time? Yeah, so we had to buy a present each for the "gift exchange" for the "party". Actually we just paid the manager this certain amount of money and he helped all the staff [of Cathay CWP] to buy the presents [and mostly were mugs, right LY?]. LOL. Though we just sat throughout the whole party [well that's about the only thing we can do] it was enjoyable, at least to me. ^^

And then there was one certain Christmas which I can still vividly remember till this day. I think it was when I was sec 2 or 3? I celebrated Xmas with my relatives. We stayed over at our Grandma's house [at that time, it was at Sembawang now she's living in Yishun] on Christmas Eve. Our main highlight for dinner was turkey! Eating turkey on Christmas has that special feeling to it. :]

Then we [the few cousins, I think 6 of us] had gift exchange after dinner. Actually I can't really call it an exchange because all the presents were bought by my mum and we had to "chou qian" [pick number?] to see which present we got. At that time, though we had our presents already, we couldn't open them until midnight which was officially Christmas time! When it was 12am, everyone greeted MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone! And hurriedly get down to opening our presents. It was an awesome time. . .

Yeah, I believe we did this activity for two consecutive years. But I can't remember exactly which year it was.

So I hope everyone's Christmas was enjoyable this year. ^^
