Been tied down with a couple of tests ever since school started and it won't end till February. We just got to pull through this whole month of brain torture before ending Year 2! And though it's a period of no-nonsense, we should find some time to relax from all the stress.
That's why LY and I went to watch
Alien VS Predator 2 yesterday. We went to Marina Square and she brought us to a Japanese Pasta restaurant which the cheapest meals cost $12.80 ["thanks alot", LY!]. LOL. But the food is
great though the serving does not meet the price of the meal. If you're rich and want to try some awesome pasta in Marina Square, go there. The name's "something.. Waraku" [I obviously only remembered the word 'waraku'].
About the movie, AVP 2. Very disappointing. It did not reach the standards of AVP 1 at all! The first movie was really
a-w-e-s-o-m-e, probably the best movie I'd watched during that year [which I forgotten when]. It has a storyline and character development, like when the female lead and the Predator had a mutual understanding between them both and worked together to fight the Aliens. It was a seat-gripping movie. Very very nice.
AVP 2 is just... fighting, no storyline, some of the supposed leads got killed... blah blah. At very minimal times I got bored. And it's quite disappointing to see only
one fighting Predator in the movie though I know one can fight off hundreds of those Aliens [as seen in AVP 1]. I was expecting more Predators, at least more than ONE. I don't hate the show but I don't really like it as well. I guess if you guys have watched AVP 1 and have full-to-the-brim pockets, it's watch-able.
This morning, I woke up with a surprise awaiting for me- my
TVXQ 2nd Asia Tour Concert O DVD! But I believe the DVD had already arrived yesterday, just that I didn't notice it [my father brought it into his room] because I came back feeling extremely sleepy yesterday [only slept 3 hours the night before due to the stupid prac test].
You know, SM entertainment [management company of TVXQ] can suck the money out of us fans but when the product arrives, you will forget the amount of money you paid for it. Because everything about the product is made for the fans and their love for TVXQ. Everything is packaged so beautifully and sort of in a damage-free way.
The DVD box is black and silver in colour with the rainbow tint to the silverness and opens from the top where you pull open the box. A small desk calendar made out of separate pieces of "months" [to be put together by ourselves] is in a
plastic wrapper. I don't know if I should use it because you have to bend the provided template to use it then slot the current month in the slot of the template. At the moment, I don't feel like bending anything from the box. Just too precious even if it's a template.
I also found a tracing paper in between the 2 DVD cases inside the box. Is it to prevent the cases from scratching each other? I don't know, but if that's the case then, thank you SM E. for being so meticulous. The DVD cases are somewhat special also, at least I'd never seen those kind of cases. In short,
the whole packaging is just terrific!I can't wait to watch the entire concert in one go! [although I've watched it LIVE in Msia already, LOL]
