Did you guys ever know I was once a fan of 5566 or specifically, Xu Meng Zhe. My secondary school friends would know because it happened during then, when I was attracted by Meng Zhe's pair of sparkling round eyes, his moderately deep set of dimples and just his overall boyish charm. Yes, it was because of him I sort of supported 56 back then, but now as you guys should know, it's just a neutral stand for me.

Yet today, for the second time, I went to their autograph session (AS) with the same purpose as the very first time I went to their last AS in Singapore; to accompany CLKL. Yeah, no doubt she's an avid and loyal fan of theirs. Thumbs up to her for sticking with them throughout, even when they have been so inactive in the music industry.

So because she was their fan and I was an ex-fan, I agreed to accompany her to 56's AS. :)

Arriving at Junction 8 [where the AS was held] at around 11.30am, you would probably think it was early when the actual event only starts at 5pm. Man, you are so wrong if you think that way.

We were astounded as we walked along the queue to reach the end. It was a long walk, a very long one. What time exactly did the fans before us arrive? 10am? 8am? 7am? There were so many of them! Kudos to them.

And we thought we were the early birds.

Anyways, the time passed smoothly as we entertained ourselves with our PSP, DS and a 30 mins interview with 56 on 93.3FM. The wait of 5 hours plus may sound long but we felt like it was shorter than expected.

When it was time for us to meet 56 at the open plaza, everyone cheered and screamed with a lot of banners flying up at once! I was just jumping and trying to take a peek at the 4 guys through the many huge banners in front of us. Eventually, when all the commotion went down together with the banners, 56 members came into view. And I was thinking, "Wow, can't believe I'm seeing them again." Somehow, at that time I thought that it was sort of easy to see them in person and with that, I realized I was subconsciously comparing the "meetings" with TVXQ.

Duh... Korean artistes don't even come to SG that often, less for TVXQ. [Or in this case, NONE]

This time round, 56's appearances and attire were so much better than the last AS I went to. Well, naturally because this is their 4th album's AS while the other time was just signing on the piece of pre-order "ticket". Regarding the album, CLKL bought another album in order for me to accompany her through the session. I didn't buy it due to the fact that I'm saving up for other stuff. Ahem. I feel bad for making her buy but she gets to keep TWO signed autographed albums! CLKL, maybe you can sell it to other fans and earn money. :P

You know, seeing Meng Zhe sang "Yue Er Guang Guang" sort of reminded me back then why I was totally mesmerized by this guy, especially when he displayed the appropriate emotions across his face while singing.

Oh and this time I was elated to be able to see his face un-covered by a pair of aviators.

The opposite happened in the last autograph session which didn't allow me to see his face properly. But this time, I tried to catch as much details as possible, like the fairness of his skin. He is extremely fair up close, as if his face was caked up in powder but he wasn't since the little red dots on his face were clearly seen as well.

In addition, there's a small delightful memory for me to keep in my mind of treasures; His dimples! :D

He was talking and laughing with Wang Ren Fu while signing my copy of the album so I got the chance of a lifetime to see his dimples UPCLOSE. Did you see, CLKL? Of course not, you were only LISTENING to Ren Fu's "voluminous" voice when he laughed along with MZ. Heh. :x

Well, as several songs from their new album were played while we waited for the arrival of 56, I found a few songs quite nice and catchy. Initially, I thought "Yue Er Guang Guang" was irritating with the repeated singing of "Yue Er Guang Guang~~ Yue Er Guang Guang~~" but after seeing MZ sing that part, the song miraculously grew on me. Haha.

I admit, I am so bias towards MZ when it comes to 56. It's also because of this biasness that I couldn't stay a fan of 56 longer than a year. I'll get annoyed when it's always other members and not enough of MZ. So the feeling just drifted. Haha, get what I mean?

But 56's great. Their songs are catchy and they have grown even more handsome this time. :P

An apology here to my cousins for not being able to make it for shopping today! Sorry~ Because I agreed to accompany my friend first. :x I'm sure you guys had a great time and I wish I was there too.

My copy of THSK's "T" album has FINALLY been shipped. God knows how long I've been waiting and persevering. Fans have uploaded the entire album but nah uh am I going to spoil myself without the real album in my hands. I say NAH UH!!~ LOL.
