Cafebiz, on the 13th April!

Last Sunday's dinner was glorious! Scrumptious! Absolutely heavenly!
Now that I've finally uploaded the pictures, I shall rave about how wondrous the food was at the buffet restaurant me and my family [immediate relatives] went to on the 13th April.

Cafebiz at Trader's Hotel may look too open and cheapo for comfort since it doesn't have proper walls to distinct itself from the lobby area of the hotel, but we were all fooled by the restaurant's exterior. The food there has the ability to dig deep into the pleasures of your heart, to take you on a ride through the clouds of heaven and make you feel glad that you have live to eat the food there.

This is the general outlook of the restaurant taken from the hotel's lobby. We were exclaiming how cheapo it was before entering but were silenced by the godly taste of the food.

While waiting for others to arrive, we started snapping pictures.

Man, I'm wearing heels yet this 15 year old cousin is taller than me! Shit. [This height comparison thing started when he hit puberty and I used to be the tallest kid before that!]

Oh! I look slim here! LOL. And by the way, my cousin was slightly tip-toed when he took this photo with me. Heh, he said a guy shorter than a girl is weird. So can I say 90% of Singaporean guys are weird? Hah!

Yeah! Good food coming my way! So happy!

Pictures of food here were taken after we had eaten. The waiters didn't resupply the food, therefore it looks half-eaten which is not very sightly.

Gosh, oysters! Haven't had them for a long time!

Mussels and Crayfish [I think]! Mussels are also another one of my seashell love.

Salad.

Cooking area where you can order Ramen and others.

One of the top of the tops; Lobster soup. The smell is so aromatic, it stirs the hunger in you, making you salivate even though you've eaten to your fullest.

Cooked salmon in ?? sauce. Another Top of the tops. Delicious!

Look at this. It's the rawest form of beef meat I've ever eaten. The first bite was good but as you continue chewing, it's as if you'll never break the meat down. There are only two things to do to stop chewing; swallow it down or spit it out. I did the first. In the end, the whole piece of meat was left aside. Nobody finish eating it.

Now for the best of the best! DESSERTS!
I was flabberghasted by the variety of dessert! There were so many different types of desserts! Other buffet restaurants like Pariss and Vienna don't even have this huge a variety. The appearance was also eye-catching. The table was full of colours, you simply can't take your eyes off them! I was so excited, I wanted to take a picture in that instance so I quickly snap photos of the dessert before eating. ^^

One of the best things on this table was DURIAN PUFFS. It's so delicious. The durian taste was thick and the puff will literally melt in the warmth of your mouth when you put the whole thing in. There was also another durian dessert which I can't exactly name it and I, being so excited over the dessert, didn't read the name of it from the display tags. It's sort of like chilled melted durian. You're eating durian but it's in a paste/cream form. That was the 2nd best dessert after durian puffs.

Chocolate fondue was also one of the main highlights during that night. My cousin, Lian, took ice [grounded ones] and placed them in a cup of water. There after, she took a chocolate covered marshmallow and placed it in the water. The chocolate will hardened so when you take a bite out of it, the outside will be hard while on the inside, melted chocolate still exists!

The food there is amazing. Everyone at the table seemed to be gushing a lot about the food than talking about other stuff.

That night was truly enjoyable! Heavenly food eaten with the lovable relatives is something I hope will happen more often. Although we occasionally do have dinners at chinese restaurants but that Sunday night was a little different, with the western layout and buffet style. It was a night to remember. :)
