I can't understand why ITP in SPOC is a hundred times more tiring than getting attached to shops. We see patients everyday but the work is split between ourselves and our partner so that doesn't seem like
a lot to do. But every single day, it's so damn tiring I don't know why! At the end of the day, my eyelids feel like heavy bags aching to sink to the floor even when I
thought I had a good night's rest.
While on the way home, I was so tired that I slept while standing in the train today. Last time, even when I'm real tired I don't sleep while standing but today I really cannot take it. My eyelids cannot take it. My body cannot take it. I almost went down when I fell asleep. -o-"
Today was especially tiring. My partner was on MC so... yeah, I was alone throughout the day! Luckily both my patients were easy-going and they don't present much problems. And I was under my LO who I really can't imagine as being disastrous since she was real nice. :x My ret was the real disastrous one. Before I started refraction, my clinician [aka LO] helped me to change the power which she had gotten from patient's glasses because my ret findings were way off. :< She said I needed to be more confident in adding the minuses during ret but she also commented that my timing for assessing patients was quite okay. :) Fine, it was only a "quite okay" but still a morale boost, okay! Haha.
Oh well, since today was my last day of assessing patients, I guess trying it out alone is good as we will be seeing patients alone when the semester starts!
As for tomorrow, I will be on dispensing duty and that will mark my last day of ITP. Yay!
