The Craziness Of It All

I don't know where to start. So many things have happened and yet when I try to blog about them, I just can't find the right words to say, or in this case, type.

Alright, I'll gather my thoughts as I go, so let me start from the most important thing first; My birthday. Ah, thick-skinned am I not? Lol. I find my birthday this year to be utterly out of place. Celebrations for my 19th were/are going to be held on some days of the week but none on the actual day itself, simply because my Thursdays are always full of lessons. Literally – from morning to night due to my Korean language classes in the evening.

My friends – Joce, Sabu, Alice, Cherry and Ant- celebrated the occasion with me the day before 15th. It was the day when all of us ponned GEMS, when Alice, Joce and Sabu skipped their FYP session so that we could have the lovely lunch meal celebration at SEOUL… Garden.

Thanks guys, for the lunch treat, the mini strawberry heart-shaped cake and the lovely birthday present; a white watch with pretty sparkling decoration of butterflies on the face of it.

I would also like to thank them for witnessing the whole process of me getting an extra hole in my ear. That’s right, the story I posted previously have almost everything to do with this- me getting one more piercing in my right ear! I actually wanted to have an extra piercing since 06’ but the Aids talk that every year ones in SP had to attend to drove me away [or was it my fear?]. In the talk, they mentioned about getting Aids through needle piercings and what nots. You add that piece of information with my fear, it sums up to me dropping the idea of the piercing.

When Chang Min got his ears pierced, I got a little itchy and it dragged until May when I finally decide that I’m going to have my ears pierced on my birthday, just like what he did! And so I did.

The gang accompanied me to get it pierced at Bits and Pieces on the day of celebration. I admit that I was very nervous because I had tried using my nails to pinch my ear lobe at home to feel how it’ll be like and boy did the pinching hurt! So I thought that if just a pinch will hurt this much, I can’t imagine the metal stick piercing my lobe. Awful thought. Hey, even if I already have normal ear holes, I pierced them when I was just a 12 year old kid! Of course I couldn't remember how it was like and I probably didn't know what was happening at that time. That’s why I was so nervous, I even voiced it out so loudly right before the guy got down to piercing.

But when it was done, I was like ‘That was it?’ Lol. Then I realized I had embarrassed myself for nothing. Dang. :x

What really sucks is, having to wear the pink stud for one month! Booooring! I can’t wait to take the stud out and wear the fancy pairs of earrings for people with 3 ear holes. ^^

With my birthday aside, do you know I’ve got a Filipino maid at home? Yes, the maid who cleans your house, cooks for you and do whatever house chores you want her to do. But she’s hired for the main purpose of taking care of my grandma. Hopefully nothing will go wrong.

It feels kind of funny to have her staying in the house. I’m not use to it but I know I’m getting to it soon.

Oh, before I forget this, I passed my Basic Theory Test! Finally, right? I took it today and the preparation for it was friggin’ last minute. With the help of Ant, Sabu and Cherry who helped me revise, even to the extent of having Sabu to perform the traffic police hand signals to test me, I managed the test quite well. Thanks guys! J I’ve already booked my Final Theory Test which will be in July. Now that I’m a step closer to getting my license, I’m kind of excited to drive a real car! :x

To add on to this increasingly lengthy blog post, my 2nd Korean lesson has become more interesting! Now I know why Koreans add the "ee" to other people's names in their sentences, like "Chang Minie wants to go eat" [just imagine that to be in Korean, okay]. I also know what's "Mayb3llin3" in Korean. ^^
