Does God or some divine spirit really exist? Because today's little surprise really made me almost believe in their existence.
This morning, I was just complaining to my mum about how the interior of my jewellery box was in a mess due to the cluttering of my earrings and that I really need a earring holder for my babies. My fetish for earrings have led me to building up a clump of earrings in the box. Just searching for a matching pair can take me up to 5 minutes, or sometimes even more.
An hour later, when I arrived at V.O. for work, a wonderful surprise hit me! A gorgeous harp-shaped earring holder stood at the counter awaiting its owner whom I very well know is me due to a mistake Liling made when she smsed the wrong person about my birthday present. I'm so thankful to Germaine and Liling for being so thoughtful. :) I love it to biiiiits, immediately upon reaching home I took out my earrings and hung them.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough holes for me to hang all the pairs that I own so that will sum it up to me owning more than 28 pairs of earrings since there are exactly 28 pairs of holes on the earring holder. It looks like I can take the stand out and set up a earring stall on the street. LOL.
Hanging them out make them look so pretty it will make me want to wear them even more. So you see, did some divine spirit hear my "cries for help" and led them to buying this holder for me or are my colleagues just plain smart?
Earrings asides, I want to say how over the moon I was on Saturday night.
Saturday's dinner was
BLISS to the max. My mum took me and my sister out for dinner as a celebration for my birthday. Guess to where? A KOREAN RESTAURANT- Ju Shin Jung. The best part? It's
authentic. It's freaking
authentic man. The interior decoration of the restaurant, the utensils, the plates, the food and just everything.
The restaurant has got seatings on the platform board, in other words, you seat on cushioned floor. There are also chair seatings for customers who don't like sitting on the floor. Here's a picture I took from where I was sitting which was on the floor, of course.

The first thing I noticed when we were seated at the table was this:

I had the thought that Lee Soo Man not only owns SM Entertainment but also some hotplate company? Since this thing in the picture above is the lid for the fire switches for the BBQ plate. But of course, I didn't think any further. It's just a coincidence that this company has the same initials as that of SM E. And knowing that DBSK is from SM E, of course I'll somewhat kick up a little fuss. :P
All of these are side dishes:

You see how authentic this restaurant is. Even the utensils -flat metal chopsticks and long metal spoons- are wrapped up in Korean style. That's how they are shown in Kdramas. ^^

That night, we had Bulgogi, BBQ Chicken and Bibimbap. Bulgogi and BBQ chicken eaten in Korean style- wrapped in vegetables with Korean sauce applied inside.
After eating, they'll give you this yucky drink. It's ginger juice, I tell you. Mum says it's dessert for the Koreans. Man! I would rather skip it, thanks.

And then there's the lovely watermelons in the shape of hearts. How cute right?

What makes this restaurant more believable is that the Lady Boss is Korean. She was dressed differently that night, thus it was easy to spot her. The manager was also a Korean lady who wore a uniform that looks different from the waiters/waitresses there. Some waitresses were also Korean and I saw a family of Koreans having dinner there too. The place was filled with Koreans! I felt as if I was in Korea. Ultimate bliss.
The food makes it even better. All in all, I want to go back again! But only when I've got enough money. Steep prices. Very steep.
Oh! Guess where that place is located at?
Ju Shin Jung is located at West Coast! More specifically, West Coast Highway! It's quite near West Coast OC. ;)
