I'm definitely on the verge of dying from movie-starvation. I haven't been to the theatres in 1, 2 months? Yes, about 2 dreadful, boring, no-life months or maybe even more. No popcorn, no surround sound, no large screens, no kickback-relax-and-enjoy-the-show, no comfy seats, no --oh you get what I mean.
It's always the same old reasons that keep me from the cinemas; no time, no company, no good movies, etc. But Friday evening gave me one more reason that why, up till now, I haven't been doing that something I like doing and also that something which relaxes me inside out and outside in.
The plan was for CLKL and I to watch Sex and the City in CWP but due to time strains, we switched venue to Cine instead. The movie was timed for 7.20pm and we reached there at 7pm. Well, the timings flashed on the flat screen TV for the movie hit us hard. Three consecutive timings from 7.20pm were marked in bright, red words- SOLD OUT. This movie is definitely HOT inside out.
So there you have it. Another reason that kept me away from the cinema theatres.
But I can't say I have not been watching movies entirely because every so often, in the comfort of my personal space, I would spend a couple of hours watching movies online. That kind of substitute my absence from the theatres.
Alright, enough said. The movie hasn't totally been forgotten, it's just been rescheduled to another day.
Hm. I learnt that a third year from my course is trying to find a part-time job and that person somehow [I don't know why] approached A. Ong, a part-time "lecturer" well I wouldn't call him lecturer, but oh well I can't find a better word, for our Oph dispensing practical classes. And A. Ong has contacted my boss [yes, they know each other and they even played golf together] to ask for any vacancies in the shop. Hmmm... Now, I wonder who could that be? That person has the potential to become my colleague.
