My goodness! You know, I freaking swear that there is no other lessons that will actually allow me to sing DBSK's debut song, Hug, so openly like how I did during my first lesson for Korean level 2 [hoorah for that] this evening.

Well, the entire thing goes like this. In the initial part of the lesson, seon-saeng-nim went through what we learnt in Korean level 1 and when we were on the part of "What are the things that you like?", she asked me first. I said "Korean music" [in Korean, of course] then she asked me who do I like... so naturally [and shyly, lol] I said DBSK. Her response was kind of like, Oh! Of course.

So until the later part of the lesson, the class of seven, pathetically small, was splitted into half to play a "board game". Well actually the game was on paper but it was like snake-and-ladder except that on the paper, there were boxes and arrows. Boxes were for our game pieces to walk on and arrows are like the snakes and ladders. So in some of the boxes, there were tasks for the players to fulfill if their game pieces landed on them.

Well then, my game piece somehow by some cruel [or not] fate of luck fell on a particular box that says "Sing a Korean song". I was shocked that there's such a task since this is afterall supposed to be an educational game. I wanted to follow like what the other group did, sing the Korean Happy Birthday song but seon-saeng-nim stepped in and asked me to sing DBSK's Hug!!

My team mates were also cheering me on to sing so I would feel like such a wet blanket if I rejected it. But in all my nervousness, somehow the only lyrics in my head was the chinese Hug version.. WTH right?! Ok, to be honest I haven't listened to Hug for a loooooong time, but even worst for Chinese version of Hug, so i had no idea why the hell the chinese lyrics were in my head. I somehow couldn't find the right Korean lyrics then I told them I couldn't remember... But guess what?! Seon-saeng-nim said, "It's ok! I'll help you.." She went to her laptop and after awhile, Hug started to play. In my head was, I can't believe this is happening. I can't believe that seon-saeng-nim is going to play Hug out loud and I have to sing along out loud as well!

But when the music played, all the lyrics just came smacked into my mind so I started singing along. Lol. My team mates were amazed as they keep going "Wah! You really know how to sing ah!" Because Hug is one of DBSK's songs that I'm most familiar with. All the attention made me suuuuper embarrassed. Even seon-saeng-nim keep saying "Wah.. Jo-ha-yo!" Haha. It's like singing to the whole class! I didn't sing the whole song, of course.

I too paiseh to sing the whole song la. haha.

Though it was very very embarrassing I had a lot of fun as well. =^o^=
