The Singapore flag being raised during the winning ceremony somehow looked more beautiful than ever. Congrats to Table Tennis Women's team for getting Silver medal for us. :) The fight with China was a great effort put in but they were just too good.
Moving on to the water cube events, what other to say than the phenomenal Micheal Phelps breaking world record of receiving most number of golds in an Olympic Games - 8 Golds. He's truly legendary! His moost exciting race was definitely the 100m butterfly Finals in which he won by 0.01 secondssssss. Crazeeeh. I sorta had breathing difficulties when Cavic was still leading in the last few metres but somehooow with his inhuman abilities, Phelps managed to win by 0.01 sec. Damn, he's excellent.
And this morning's swimming events were the last for the Beijing Games. So sad... swimming is the only event which I follow religiously everyday, be it with or w/o Phelps. Lol. Now it seems a little boring without Phelps or swimming events to watch. :x
However, I managed to record swimming everyday! Okay, except Thursday because I was home the whole day so I didn't think it necessary to do so and now I regret. Because this afternoon, I decided to record all of Micheal Phelps swimming events on DVD and I realized I didn't have his races that were held on Thursday. I even included his winning ceremonies in. So if you want to watch his swimming events, you can borrow the DVD from me! Watching him in water is better than seeing him on dry land. LOL. :x
