So it wasn't really a movie marathon the 3 of us went through today. Error, Alice and I watched two movies, one before and one after lunch. Oh I love spending my day watching shows though it seems kind of a waste to do so after thinking back. :x
The movies we watched were two really good ones-
Hana Yori Dango: Final AKA
Boys Over Flowers: Final and
Wall-e.
HYD: Final is the much anticipated Jap movie of the year. This movie concludes the story from both seasons of the HYD drama series. Though it has been more than one year since I last watched the last season of the drama, the appearance of all the casts certainly made me recall most of the things that happened in the drama. It's a fantastic movie and the best part was, it had a very nice ending which I loved. I don't love a lot of endings, be it dramas or movies. I may like them but I rarely love them. HYD: Final definitely has a very lovely ending, it makes you walk out of the theatre smiling and feeling all the bubbling happiness inside of you.
The next movie being Wall-e is a pixar animated film about robots. This movie could be described as short and sweet as the movie shows how the adorable robot captures the heart of its love one. Wall-e is so adorable, it's innocent as well. This little robot is like a child learning about the things around him, so when he gets hurt in the movie, I can't really bare to watch... but I still did of course. ^x^ Besides all the cute-ness, this movie showed how people have to rely on themselves instead of leaving everything to technology. The people in the movie were all obese from the lack of exercise and just sitting on their automated chair everyday, 24/7. That part was certainly amusing. They even depended on the robots to brush their teeth.
So yes, both movies were certainly worth our money.
While still on the topic of movies, I found out today that
Kurosagi, the movie, is going to air in local cinemas. =.=" This movie is already available on the internet with english subtitles for quite some time already as I had watched it months ago. Can't believe how long SG took to bring that movie in, can't believe that it airs later than HYD:Final when it was aired in Japan 4 months earlier than HYD. So, it seems
Johnny's Entertainment's boys will be floating in SG for quite some time with
HYD: Final and
Kurosagi the movie in tow.
Now moving off topic, as a Kpop fan, I've seem to have taken a liking to SM's youngest group-
SHINee. Initially, I just listened to their songs without knowing much about them and this went on for a few months until recently when I started to watch their performances, I stumbled upon some variety shows that starred them. I was just trying to kill my boredom so I thought no harm in watching them. After 1 video, I continued watching the next and continued and continued, laughing and smiling on the way. They are still young and may not have the top voices in Korea, but they are so entertaining in the variety shows! Be it on screen or behind the scenes, you can laugh at their actions or even what they say.
They are very comical and can say the most hilarious things! I didn't watch all their shows but the ones which I have watched are very entertaining. Their behavior reminds me of jokers in class... you know how everytime in class, there would always be a few funny guys around, be it in pri sch, sec sch or poly. Maybe it's because of their age... They are either 18 or below- younger than me! *sobs*
Haha, anyways, SHINee have just released their first album last month and to me, it's just mediocre though there are a couple of songs which I really like but majority of the songs did not blow me away. So although their album is just average, their on-screen personalities are so funny and cute. Many a times you can see them acting like their age, teasing and playing around. Oh but there's one member whom I kind of like when I first saw him because he's so 멌있어요! But he is very different from the rest. He doesn't talk a lot and take part in jokes when the other members are at it. He kind of reminds me of
Chang Min [From DBSK], but he's a lot quieter. Chang Min is quiet because he's the youngest and lets his hyungs do the talking first. But
Min Ho [yes, that's his name] isn't the youngest. It's highly likely that he's a quiet person for real. Two other similar traits of Chang Min and Min Ho is that they are both the tallest member in the group and they are my favourites. LOL. XD
SHINee
From the left: Onew, Taemin, Jonghyeon, Minho, KeyYou can say I'm addicted to watching variety shows that star SHINee. Recommended songs sung by them are their principal tracks from their mini album and first album: Noona is so pretty, The SHINee World and Love's Like Oxygen.
