I say, KLC is getting more and more difficult to catch up with. The classes whoooosh like trains. So many new stuff every week. It's getting more and more difficult but maaaan, I am still enjoying it. I just have to kick away the awful habit of procrastinating my revision, something which is highly impossible since I'm at it for years already. Lol.

Dong Bang Shin Ki's 4th Album has arrived~~!!!

동방신기의 4집을 왔어~~!!! 왔어 왔어 왔어.........!!

It's been so long ever since I recieve such a huge package. 4 HUGE precious albums in it.


Mirotic rules~ Version A and B respectively. I have never actually seen a detailed picture of the albums before so I got a really good surprise when I opened it. Damn it's so thick and beautiful.


Don't look very thick here. But it's reaaally thick in reality because of the design of the albums.


Why is it thick? Because they wanted to create a 3D effect. Don't mind the blurriness.. :x


The 2-year wait is finally over. The products which, I believe, they have input their bestest efforts are finally in my hands! The album, the lyrics and the CD. Precious, precious... so very precious. Even more precious are the songs contained in that thin circular piece of metal.

I recieved the album this early afternoon. Man, sometimes coincidences like this can really make me wonder. I was on my way home after FYP, bought lunch home as well. While in the lift, I was thinking that my maid hasn't called me yet [apparently I've asked her to call me if the package arrived] so I was like, "Oh maaan.. When is it arriving?!"

Out of the lift I went and O.O!!! Postwoman was at my door! Huge grin spreads across my face. This is it man. The package which I've been waiting for 2 years.

I was on a high! I jumped like an idiot around the house [while nobody was watching of course] and hugged the package with so much feeling I wanted to kiss it.

SONGS

Okay. So here's the thing. I'm gonna just write what I thought about the songs in general, not every song. Well, maybe it can lead to that but I'm not going to be so detailed about it since you guys won't even know what I'm talking about. I'm writing because I want to. :)

As I've just received the album today, I've only heard all the songs 3 times [except for 3 songs due to performances they are having in Korea right now]. In terms of vocals, they have definitely, a 100%, made drastic improvements when you compare it with their previous albums. Of course, it's more distinctive when you hear them sing live.

The member who improved noticably by tons is Yunho. He's the rapper guy in the group, doing most rapping in songs that consist of them. Admittedly his voice is the weakest but time in Japan did him good. I'm beginning to love his voice now...

Before getting the albums, I've downloaded Mirotic and after listening to it, I thought it was really awesome but I was wrong when I listened to the CD. I was so wrong.

I listened to CD ripped Mirotic twice on my mp3. It was not awesome.
It is HELLA EXCELLENT. HELLA, I tell you.

Mirotic is SO damn excellent when I heard it on my mp3. I don't think my earphones are the best but it doesn't lack in terms of sound quality. First time I listened on my mp3, I was stunned. By the beat, by the background vocals, by the bass, by the background everything! Their voices and the background music- I could hear it all quite clearly! [Note: I've never heard downloaded version in my mp3 before] This song makes me have goosebumps from head to toe and up again. With the background clearly in place in additional to their very awesome vocals, this song kills! It kills! In a positive way, of course. I love it to death.

Honorable mentions:
Wrong Number- I'm not going to honor this song because to be very very critical, this song has a lot of repetitive beats. The good thing about this song and the reason why I added it here is because of Jae Joong's rap! Jae Joong has never rap in any of their albums before, not even Japanese ones. He's the ballad kind of guy in DBSK. But man! He could go challenge TOP [Rapper in Big Bang] or something HAHA, I kid. He's dayuuum good. Really good. Rap more in future, Joongie! XD

Picture of You- Lyrics written by none other than DBSK's very own Junsu. I've yet to learn more about the lyrics but this song is a ballad and in my opinion, one of their best. Beautiful beautiful song. I'm so hooked onto it.

Love in the Ice- Lyrics written by none other than DBSK's youngest, Changmin! This song is originally a Japanese song done by them, but they featured it as a bonus Korean song in their album. One of my most favouritest song be it Jap or Kor. But I'm getting attached to the Kor version because they had a lot of performances of it. This song is a ballad and I feel that it's their no. 1 best ballad song ever.

Forgotten Season- Jae Joong's very own solo! :D Finally, a member gets a solo in their album. It's a remake of a very old Korean song from the 80s. I was really surprised when I saw the lyrics for this song. Only one verse! Very short! But the song itself ain't short. Only one verse but Jae Joong sang it twice and he made it really enjoyable to listen to. Gu gu gu gu good!! Lol..

A little comment on their SMP- Hey! (Don't bring me down). It's a good song on its own, but if I'd have to be a little critical, it's not as good as their previous SMP songs- Rising Sun, O-JBH, Purple Line, Tri-Angle... Rising Sun still pwns all. :P
If I'd have to give them a ranking, Hey will go right at the last. But this is just comparisons. It's good a song on its own.

My absolute favs in this album out of 12 songs: Mirotic, Picture of You, Crazy Love, You're my Melody, Flower Lady, Forgotten Season and Love in the Ice.

Favourites as in instant addiction to the song. No kidding, I was hooked to these songs when I first heard them. I'm not giving up on the other songs though.

This album is major kick-ass. I didn't get instant addiction to more than half the songs in any other Kmusic album! Seriously. Okay, so the fangirl in me played a tiny part in that but honestly, this album is more than what I was expecting from all the spazzes of the fans who already got theirs. Much more.

The wait was so worth it.
