On the 2nd day in Jeju, the tour guide told us weather was looking up and the air around us was so fresh that wearing a white shirt the whole day wouldn’t bring back even a speck of dust. Though it was still very cold, the sun was indeed shining brightly.
Spring has actually descended upon parts of the island. While on the way to our next destination, we could see large fields of yellow flowers in full bloom. So lovely!
Songan Sunrise Peaks
After such a long time of no exercise, I think it’s a great achievement to actually climb an extinct volcanic crater!! While climbing, I thought I was going to shred a few Kilos… It was so damn tiring. Just half-way from reaching the top, I was already out of breath and my legs were aching. Luckily we had a few stops for photo-taking. :P
Going up!![]()
This was taken from half-way up the crater. Nice, huh?![]()
When we reached the peak and looked down…![]()
This was the “mouth” of the volcanic crater
Winter rabbit (or is it mountain rabbit) seen hopping around by itself!![]()
When we reached the peak, it’s like achieving something great. The reward we got was the fresh air and the scenery around us. So so so nice.
Chonjeyon Waterfall
It is one of the 3 most famous waterfalls in Jeju.
This is the bridge of the seven nymphs.![]()
![]()
The bridge was quite steep at both ends so it felt like I was climbing a hill. Looking down from the bridge, it was all trees and water flowing from the waterfall. The 3 of us played a lot on the bridge, taking photos and all.
More flowers seen when we looked down from the bridge!
Teddy Bear Museum
CUTEST MUSEUM EVER!! Haha. As if I went to a lot of Museums before. :p Whatever it is, this museum is JJANG! 짱! The best! Everything is just so cute inside. Yeah, all the teddies are love~ <3
Everything is just teddy bear here, teddy bear there.
Inside the museum, the teddy bears came in several different kinds of characters from movies, cartoons, or just random cultural events. Some of the teddy bears can even move!
Look at this guy, can you recognize him?![]()
This was one of my favourite displays because it’s so bright and colourful. The shops light up, looking so real. Then there’s the dragon dance as well! It’s Chinese New Year! :)![]()
When you go to the Teddy Bear Museum, these are the MUST-SEEs!
The renown teddy bears from Kdrama series, Goong! :D:D:D:D:D:D![]()
Remember him? The bear who always has the same posture as Prince Shin in the drama. Dearest Alfred~ <3
Most expensive teddy bear in the world…
![]()
Smallest bears in the world…![]()
Then at the museum’s gift shop… they actually sell replicas of Alfred bear! :D Limited Edition! Only left 2 on the shelf! Luckily LY grabbed them and reserve for me… if not… I think there was another person who wanted to buy as well.
I’m going to put my bear in the same position as me, just like in the drama. Haha!
Here’s a video for you to watch. Kim Jung Hoon in Teddy bear museum, with the teddy bears from Goong! :P
